QB Rankings -- Week 7
Time to get those lineups ready. Sitting out this week are Chicago, Baltimore, San Francisco, New Orleans, St. Louis and those woeful Titans from Tennessee. Some tight matchups this week, but there are a few that could be huge in the fantasy points department. Here's a look at the QB rankings for this week's games. As always, color coordination remains the same.
1. Peyton Manning, IND -- vs. WAS: Well rested from the bye week, Indy is looking for a return to its explosiveness. With Dominic Rhodes and Joseph Addai doing exactly, if not a little more, than what Edge did here last year for the running game, Manning and Co. should have a big afternoon exploiting a very banged up Skins secondary.
2. Donovan McNabb, PHI -- @ TB: Tampa did a great job holding the Bengals in check last week, but their hands will be quite full this week with the Eagles. Word out of Philly is that Donovan may have Donte Stallworth back this week to add to the arsenal.
3. Carson Palmer, CIN -- vs. CAR: It may be a tough matchup with the Panther D, but the Bengals won't be held down two weeks in a row. Palmer should find Chad and the Housh early and often this week.
4. Jake Delhomme, CAR -- @ CIN: Once Palmer starts airing it out, Jake won't be far behind. Last week's 365 yard effort is more like a return to form rather than an abberration. How can you not expect a big day out of a guy that has Steve Smith and Keyshawn to throw to?
5. Matt Hasselbeck, SEA -- vs. MIN: With the running game stuck in neutral still, the Seahwks will be airing it out all day. Hasselbeck has 3 great receiver options in Jackson, Branch and Burleson, and he might even get back tight end Jerramy Stevens this week.
