Fantasy Frustrations!!!!

The Agony of Defeat!!

I need to take this opportunity to vent a little here! Just when you think you've got it all going your way...BAM!!! Something incredibly stupid happens.

So right now, I'd like to personally thank all of those who helped me lose this week's crucial matchup...

Kevin Jones: You can't run your way out of a paper bag half the time, but this is the week you decide to bust out for a TD and ridiculous yardage?!?

Jon Kitna: Thanks for looking only for Roy Williams. You know...you've got other receivers out there, jackass.

Mike Furrey: For your powers of invisibility.

The NY Jets Defense: You own the Fins up and down the field all game long just so you can go into that patented crap prevent defense and give up a garbage TD to Chris Chambers. Idiots.

The Seattle Defense: A 67 yard TD for Torry Holt at the end of the game?!? What is that?!? Did some of you clowns have money on the spread? On the over? You knew they had to go deep. Morons.

Drew Bledsoe: Thanks for overthrowing Terry Glenn every chance you could get.

Terry Glenn: Thanks for being so short!

Bill Parcells: You couldn't just leave Bledsoe in the game there at the very end? If there's no QB controversy, then what's with this Tony Romo crap?!? You should have let Drew finish the game and get that last TD pass.

Bill Cowher: Did you not learn anything from Jerome Bettis' goal line fumble last year? Stick with who got you there. Willie Parker should have had that last TD carry. Leave Najeh Davenport on the bench where he belongs.

and finally...

Myself: Thanks for being an arrogant a-hole and thinking you were so smart for knowing that the Buffalo/Detroit game was going to be a shootout and deciding to bench the previously useless Joe Horn in favor of the currently invisible Mike Furrey. I was this close [::holds fingers a millimeter apart::] to giving myself the Romanowski Award this week. Way to waste a great week from Parker and LTD.

Thanks for nothing guys!!!

If you too need to bitch about this past week, by all means...this comments section is wide open!

  • In my opinion Furrey is a bye week fill in, not someone you play instead of a player like Joe Horn.

  • and I couldn't agree more.

I thought the matchup was solid. I was disappointed in Joe Horn's lack of production thus far. I over-thought the whole thing and made a huge mistake.

What's worse is that I knew that if someone asked me what to do, I would have said, "start Horn. no question."

I was trying to be a know-it-all and got burned in the end.

    I deserved to lose.

    Humbling, yes.

    Will I bounce back? Absolutely.

My team's too good not to.
