Tuesday Morning Quarterback
Player of the Week: Edge who? That's what Colts fans were saying when rookie running back Joseph Addai did his best LTD impression as he ran all over the Eagles' defense to the tune of 171 rushing yards ( 7.1 yards per carry average) and 4 TD's. He also kicked in 37 receiving yards to boost his fantasy totals this week. Slowly but surely he is pushing teammate Dominic Rhodes down the depth charts and should prove to be a solid option for you in the upcoming playoffs.
It was a fantasy bonanza for you this week if you started:

News & Notes
It was only a matter of time, but you can now up the value of your Seahawks again. They were all knocking a little of the rust off in the snow last night and should be ready to put up some serious points just in time for your fantasy playoffs.
Seems like ages ago, but let's give it up for our Thanksgiving heroes...Joey Harrington shows not only can you go home again, but you can embarrass your former team at the same time. Seems like everyone's jumping on the Tony Romo bandwagon here. You can't not use him if the matchup is rught, but I'm holding off my full endorsement right now. I need more consistency for a guy who never had any fantasy value until late October. And finally, ever since Trent Green got back, it's been all Larry Johnson and Laurence Tynes. Way to shake up that offense, Herm.
For the first time in a while, the Vikings offense finally bailed out the Vikings defense. Good thing Brad Johnson and Chester Taylor stepped it up, because Matt Leinart, Larry Fitgerald and Anquan Boldin were having a field day in that secondary.
Steven Jackson and Marc Bulger are finally starting to get used to life in football without Orlando Pace. It's only a matter of time before Torry Holt returns to elite form.
Watching Chad Pennington bring two receivers over the 100 yard mark makes me realize that there's nothing like a game against the Texans to lift your spirits (and your stats) back up. Unless your the Jaguars...
Which brings me to the official announcement that the Jacksonville Jaguars are an enigma wrapped up in a mystery and surrounded by questions. 4 out of their 5 losses are against the Texans (2), Redskins and now the Bills? It's getting to the point where you can't even start their DST these days. Fantasy wise, the whole team is just too inconsistent.
Quoth the Raven, fear the Ravens. With Ray Lewis back, this team is going all the way. Looks like Steve McNair just may get that Super Bowl ring he missed by a yard back in 2000.
Enjoy your Steelers for the start of your playoffs, but don't expect them to finish for you. They get two easy matchups coming against Tampa and Cleveland, but then it's over to Carolina and back up against the Ravens after that. Fast Willie can get you there, but if Sunday was any indication, he ain't gonna be the guy who wins it for you.
You can reserve that for LaDanian Tomlinson. With the surprising Oaktown defense shutting down America's sweetheart, Phillip Rivers, it was LTD who once again saved the day. He only needs to average a TD a game from here on in to break the single season record. Pfffft!! When was the last time he only had a touchdown in a game?
I'm forming an "Owners of Joe Horn" support group if anyone is interested. You can send me an email to let me know what nights are good for you for the meetings.
Michael Vick really bailed out his fantasy owners with his rushing numbers this week. Still...this is one deep valley. "Now where in the hell did I put that stupid passing game??"
Jury's still out on Jason Campbell here. 66 of his 118 passing yards came on that last TD play in the 4th quarter. That doesn't make for a nice first 3 quarters. Can you really lean on Ladell Betts that much?
If you're playing a team in the upcoming playoffs that starts Carson Palmer, you better hope you have guys that put up career days. Here's the fantasy monster we all thought we were getting on draft day.
Could this be the game that breaks out Vince Young to be a fantasy stud or are the Giants just that bad now? Either Tom Coughlin runs Eli Manning out of town soon or he gets fired. I'm betting on the latter.
Peyton Manning gets some well deserved rest on Sunday as he got to watch Joe Addai take over on the ground. Don't worry Marvin Harrison fans. They'll get back together again soon. You don't think he really likes Reggie Wayne more, do you?
Looks like the wheels are falling off the Rex Grossman bandwagon finally. Yes folks, that was a big fat zero he put up this week. Ruining fantasy hopefuls everywhere.
Hope you had a nice holiday weekend.
